Climate hustings

Thank you to the organisers of the Bath Climate Hustings today for running such an energetic and positive event, demonstrating how much we can achieve if we collaborate. I am proud that the UK and the Conservative Party are leading the world in our response to climate change.

Age UK hustings

At the Age UK hustings this lunchtime. I am attending every hustings to which I've been invited. I so enjoy debating with people in the real world!

Christmas Market opens

It's getting Chrismassy! Exploring Bath Christmas Market shopping and chatting. Our market is different from others with many local artisans and independent businesses. The crowds are a seasonal "thing" for some but they create a joyful atmosphere.

Started the day out meeting people in Foxhill. The rain finally stopped.

Widcombe lights

High spirits, dancing and unexpected delicious food at the turning on of the Widcombe lights this evening. Visited the newly opened Bikano's India Restaurant and enjoyed a great evening with people who really know how to have fun.

Visited the Bath Spa University Locksbrook Campus this afternoon. Wow! This brand new campus is truly stunning.

Canvassing in Fairfield and watching Bath City FC

Canvassing in Fairfield Park this morning which was both fun and friendly. Followed by an afternoon at Bath City FC FA Trophy match against Gosport. We get everywhere in all weathers! Took shelter in the excellent 'Bakers of Bath' where we all enjoyed fab pastries and cake.

James Cleverly back in Bath

Great fun with James Cleverly at the Guildhall Market where he enjoyed meeting stallholders and Bath residents.

Hustings at the Rec

Hustings for Bath Chamber of Commerce at the Rec last night. A very effective round table format which led to open discussion. Brexit dominated again with many questions rooted in the ongoing uncertainty which can only end by progressing the deal through its final stages.
